Thirty years experience in biology. Lipscomb Distinguished Professor of Agriculture at Arkansas State University. Previously, Associate Vice Chancellor for Research and Technology Transfer at ASU. Program Director in Molecular and Cellular Biosciences at the National Science Foundation. Leader in forming one of the world's foremost transgenic plant research groups at ProdiGene, a plant biotechnology start-up company. Director of the cell biology group for plant production of therapeutic proteins at Pioneer Hi-Bred International, a Fortune 500 Company. Internationally recognized for research program and associated expertise as evidenced by over 75 publications and patents as well as invitations to speak nationally and internationally.

Biography
M. A. Martin-Luengo graduated in Chemistry (UAM, Spain). In CSIC (Spain), she presented her Master work and her phD on supported catalysts, both with the highest qualification. As a Postdoctoral Grant Holder of the CSIC she worked in UK and Belgium. Afterwards she was granted a Fellowship IA to work with the SERC (UK) on Fischer Tropsch Processes. In 1992 she gained a permanent position of Research Scientist in the CSIC (Spain), where she has been working since. She has more than 100 publications, 120 congresses and several patents, an is member of the RSC, ACS and SECAT.
Research Interest
Nowadays she carries out studies in the search for more sustainable materials and chemical processes based on the valorisation of agriresidues, particularly important in less developed countries. This work has been acknowledged by the CSIC recently.

Sergey Suchkov was born in the City of Astrakhan, Russia, in a family of dynasty medical doctors, graduated from Astrakhan State Medical University and awarded with MD, then in 1985 maintained his PhD at the I.M. Sechenov Moscow Medical Academy and in 2001, maintained his Doctorship Degree at the Nat Inst of Immunology, Russia. From 1987 through 1989, he was a senior Researcher, Koltzov Inst of Developmental Biology. From 1989 through 1995, he was a Head of the Lab of Clinical Immunology, Helmholtz Eye Research Institute in Moscow. From 1995 through 2004, a Chair of the Dept for Clinical Immunology, Moscow Clinical Research Institute (MONIKI. Dr Suchkov has been trained at: NIH; Wills Eye Hospital, PA, USA; Univ of Florida in Gainesville; UCSF, S-F, CA, USA; Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD, USA. He was an Exe Secretary-in-Chief of the Editorial Board, Biomedical Science, an international journal published jointly by the USSR Academy of Sciences and the Royal Society of Chemistry, UK.
